ABOUT ME
A native of Dallas, Texas, Latoya Hogg is the first of her immediate family to pursue a doctoral degree. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Tyler in 2009. She went on to pursue her Masters of Social Work from Stephen F. Austin State University where she graduated with Honors in 2012. Latoya is currently working on her Ph.D. in Social Work at The Howard University in Washington, D.C.
Latoya's research and areas of interest are self-care and mental health practices among minority social work professionals, African-American female crossover youth, and social work curriculum design.
